HOW TO PLAY

๐ŸŽฏ Objective

Defend your golden eagle base at the bottom of the map from waves of enemy tanks. If the base falls, or you run out of lives, it's game over. Clear every enemy in a stage to advance to the next one.

Every tank starts with 5 lives and can take a hit and keep fighting โ€” it takes 2 hits to lose a life, so getting shot once won't take you out immediately.

๐Ÿ•น๏ธ Game Modes

  • AUTO AI BATTLE โ€” sit back and watch two AI tanks, P1 (cyan) and P2 (pink), fight side by side. When they're defeated, a new battle starts automatically after a short countdown.
  • 1 PLAYER + AI ALLY โ€” you drive P1 yourself while an AI wingman (P2) fights alongside you and helps defend the base.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Friend or Foe

Every tank has a glowing ring at its base: green = friendly, red = enemy. A brighter glow marks a "hunter" โ€” an enemy smart enough to actively path toward you and dodge your shots, instead of just wandering.

๐Ÿงฑ Terrain

  • Brick โ€” destroyed one small block at a time by any weapon.
  • Steel โ€” blocks normal shots completely; only weapon level 4+ can blast through it.
  • Water โ€” tanks can't drive through it, but bullets skim right over.
  • Bushes โ€” purely visual cover; tanks and bullets pass through them freely.
  • Base (eagle) โ€” any bullet that touches it, friend or foe, ends the game instantly. Guard it well.

๐Ÿš— Enemy Types

  • Basic (red) โ€” slow and weak, the most common grunt.
  • Fast (yellow) โ€” quick, but goes down in one hit.
  • Power (purple) โ€” fires shots strong enough to punch through steel.
  • Armor (silver, flashes as it's damaged) โ€” takes 4 hits to destroy and pays out a big score.
  • Boss (magenta, oversized) โ€” shows up from stage 3 onward: tough, relentless, and always a hunter.

โญ Power-Ups

Every 4th enemy destroyed in a wave drops a random power-up โ€” drive over it to grab it:

  • โ˜… Star โ€” upgrades your weapon (levels 1โ€“5). At max level, another star grants an extra life instead.
  • โ›จ Helmet โ€” temporary invincibility shield.
  • โ–  Shovel โ€” temporarily reinforces the base's brick walls into steel.
  • โš™ Tank โ€” an extra life.
  • โ„ Freeze โ€” freezes every enemy on the field for 8 seconds.
  • โ˜  Grenade โ€” instantly destroys every enemy currently on the field.
  • โšก Rapid โ€” triples your fire rate for 8 seconds.

๐Ÿ’ฅ Weapon Levels

Each Star upgrades your cannon: faster reload throughout, a second simultaneous shot at level 3, steel-piercing power at level 4, and a third shot at level 5 (max). Losing a life resets your weapon back to level 1, so play it safe once you're upgraded.

โฑ๏ธ Game Speed

The SPEED switch (top-right during play) slows the action down to a relaxed 0.5ร—, or cranks it all the way up to a chaotic 8ร—. Your chosen speed is remembered for next time.

๐Ÿ† Scoring

Every enemy destroyed adds to your score โ€” armored and boss tanks pay out the most. Your best combined score across both tanks is saved as the high score shown on the main menu.
